Ingredients:
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
- Dissolve sugar in warm water, add yeast, and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead for 8-10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into portions and shape into rings. Let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Boil a large pot of water and preheat the oven to 220°C.
- Boil the bagels for 1-2 minutes on each side. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
